Contour understands the changing dynamics and trends within the international 'sustainability economy’ – in terms of the various policy, regulatory and commercial drivers, areas of relative growth and contraction, main industry players (investors, developers and service providers), and knowledge and skills that organisations require.

Contour is in daily contact with sustainability specialists internationally across a wide range of disciplines – renewable energy, waste management, water treatment, green construction and sustainable agribusiness, including developers (asset owners and managers), investors (such as banks and private equity firms) and professional service providers (such as lawyers, consultants, researchers and project management specialists).  We are therefore uniquely positioned to find precisely the type of professionals corporations need to hire to improve their own sustainability performance - or to realise the commercial opportunities that sustainable development through improved resource efficiency presents.

The majority of our work is recruiting for permanent positions within our clients' organisations for which we work primarily on a retained executive search basis, with assignments tailored and staged according to the precise needs of our client.  As needs arise we are able to provide short-term specialist contract staff or consultants for short-to-medium-term projects as needs arise.

In addition to providing retained and contract recruitment services, we will also make confidential introductions to selected organisations on behalf of uniquely-qualified candidates where we are confident that there could be a good mutual fit, or where we may be aware of a particular opening for which we believe a professional with whom we are in contact may be suited.
